Let’s be honest, when it comes to summer holidays, it isnt hard to find a great destination at a great prive, especially with ton special offers and deals available from thousands of tour operators offering the latest and greatest destinations, but putting together the perfect winter holiday presents far great challenges and are just generally much harder to plan and ultimately enjoy.

We’ve all heard about the summer holidays where you turn up to a half finished hotel, rats in your bathroom and the swimming pool consists of an inflatable 4 foot dingy with some water in it, yet few have heard about the misery that faces some people who get unlucky on winter holidays.

At least with a summer holiday, you still have the sun, but usually a skiing holiday will involve something considerably colder and when it all goes wrong, you won’t even have the sunshine and warmth to fall back on.

If we could all see the bookings of Christmas holidays, you would easily find that these holidays are being booked much earlier on in the year. Summer holidays, don’t really require that much planning, and in some cases these last minute bookings are more fun.

This however is not all that successful with Christmas holidays.
